The Fishing School is excited to provide free afterschool academic enrichment at Leckie this year. For more than 30 years, The Fishing School has provided educational enrichment programs after school and during the summer for students across Washington, DC. Our free afterschool program supports students grades 1-4, from the end of the school day until 6:00pm. Your child will participate in activities that build both academic and life skills including: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM); college and career readiness; reading and math interventions; and more. Students will also participate in clubs each week, including Fitness, Sports, Do-It-Yourself (DIY), and Technology, providing opportunities for exploration in self-selected areas of interest, igniting a passion for learning.

Please note, we have limited availability in our program so please complete the online application now to ensure your student has a spot in the program. Once student enrollment has reached capacity, any remaining students will be placed on a waiting list.
